today was tiring.
really.
like drop dead tiring.
woke up at 11plus then chiong down to orchard.
just in time
1pm at reception hall.
means no lunch for me.
nor breakfast for that matter.

basically its baby amelia's full month.
and the family's having a high tea reception to celebrate.
basically it was a damn expensive way of wasting time.
no speeches,
no celebration,
just food.
oh and i got caught eating a char siew pao by the captain.
heehee.
he said next time finish work liao then can eat.

but lucky i take first lo.
the ppl there.
so rich liao,
still so niao.

they da pao everything else la.
we were praying that they'd leave some sandwiches behind.
cause got super a lot of sandwiches.
although its not very errr exciting, sandwiches,
its still something to eat.
but EVEN THEN they still da pao almost all.
totally raped the whole buffet area la.
bring so many empty boxes
take home so many full boxes.
cheapo until like that.

worse still, i got paired up with a si slacker.

like how to serve stuff faster.

everytime cause we 2 ppl serve 3 tables
then one person must take for 2 tables right.
common sense.
so under normal circumstances ppl will alternate one what.
but NOOOO she say cannot.
and then i ask her why that time.
she ask if i gay or not.
then of course i wuhua ke shuo la.
she use the 'wo si nu ren' zao on me.
is like some jue zao la.
i cannot block one.
so in the end i poor thing.
run around like chicken like that.
damn tiring la.
good thing was,
i know how to carry big tray liao.
eh and this time we never lag loh.
we were like the first few in line to collect food.
heh damn fast.
but maybe its cause the stupid auntie (her name is cynthia)
ask me to just clear the dishes.
don't wait for them to finish eating.
and when i try to argue,
she give me the 'you-so-stupid' face.
then i also dowan talk to her.
and she damn jian la.
the feedback form come back that time,
she see got ppl write a bit negative feedback liao,
she keep dowan give the manager see.
then later throw away.
in fact,
a lot of other ppl did that also
in the end only got like 15 feedback forms reach the manager.
instead of the 70 forms given out i think.
haha
oh and another noteworthy point was.
at the end when clearing up that time.
with the soothing music of kenny g playing in the background,
i smashed 2 teacups.
and with that,
my 100% record.

hahah heck liao damn tiring la.
i had to keep walking cause my legs damn tired,
until numb liao.
the moment i stop walking i'm quite sure i'll just collaspe.
finally after work at abt 1130pm,
went to eat err breakfast + lunch + dinner
at the canteen.
tgt with weely and arthur and liwen.
ok arthur and liwen drank.
me and weely gobbled.
hungryyyyyy.
going home
was quite scary really.
it was all okay,
until i started walking home.
and the strange thing was.
everywhere was flooded.
starting from national stadium there.
not flooded a lot,
but still flooded.
no rain,
nothing.
just flood.
the roads were flooded,
the drains were overflowing
the river banks were bursting.
here you see.
here its not very clear,
too dark.
but you can see the reflections quite close to the light source itself.
normally there's like 10m difference cause the canal's really deep.
in fact the water was so high 15cm more and it'd have burst the banks and overflowed.

its floating, meaning its at the water line there.
normally its way below.
its not supposed to look like a pond.
its supposed to look more like a umm well canal.
and worse still
it was dark
and windy
and cold
and it was going to rain.
lighting flashed,
thunder rumbled.
i don't know i just had the feeling that sth was going to happen.

yea the thing circled is actually a reflection of the tree above,
so ya can see that the water level is indeed much higher than intended

was quite funny now that i think of it.
she called at abt 1230am.
mum: oi so late alrdy where are you now?
me: i'm coming home la, at the park there.
mum: which park?
me: THE park la!
mum: which one??
like our house got so many park like that.
haha anyway i chiong home cause i was truly and genuinely scared i dunno why.
maybe i'm still quite high from work.
i think i get high and hyperactive from work.
dunno.
i speak too much i move about too much too.
too much quantity,
too little quality.
and i move about a lot
like today on the bus i kept moving about from side to side.
fidgiting a lot also.
dunno.
hyper.
haha i am tired.
current plan for tmr:
3am: sleep
2-3pm: wake up.
5-1130pm: work.
that's about it.
i am bored and hyperactive.
i think i'll go read the band blog archives for fun.
