today was FUN FUN FUN

what: Wedding of Benjii and Leslie
Act 1
35 floors high, it was the most tedious place to serve.
built to resemble a classic french outdoor restaurent, it had many steps going up and down different platforms.
not to mention that food pick up point was down one uneven flight of stairs below.
it was every newbie's nightmare.
and the manager apparently had decided to just throw me and weely into the deep end.

that's the bad manager from yesterday's name.
don't know what happened today.
maybe he felt good today.
maybe he decided to use his brains.
maybe he's a hippy who read my blog.
or maybe he's just a nice guy who had a bad day ytd.
but today he was a lot nicer.
although he assigned me and weeliang to this terriffic terror,
when assigning tables to all waiters there (about 13)
while most of the time there were 2 ppl serving 3 tables
me and weeliang were grouped tgt with this superwoman
to serve 3 tables, 1 of which was a reserved table who had a 90% chance of being empty.
basically, we had 3 ppl serving 2 tables.
which was damn slack.
we had another manager.

which was quite a good manager.
gave us a lot of good advise.
"log in that time handwriting must big big nice nice later they key in wrongly then you no money."
what can be more important than money hurr.
anyway haha we first had to go serve drinks outside.
haha it was terrible.
hold drinks until want to die.
and then when finally someone wanted drinks they insisted on taking it from the tray themselves.
"don't let the guest take the drinks, take for them, later your tray imbalence."
so much for that.
haha at the end hand cramp like siao.
change hand liao the other hand also cramp.
but lucky do a while only
about half an hour then can go back in liao.
"good evening is the most important word."
and so the wedding dinner started.
haha although the bride was supposed to be some yaya papaya.
some temasek holdings big boss or sth.
i must say that the couple don't look very pretty together.
anyway today serving was super slack.
cause the superwoman (i think her name was xiao han) damn meng.
she go down and take the dishes.
and then we serve.
and serve drinks and clear dishes.
aiyah, basically her sort od assistant thingy la.
apprentice maybe.
which didn't leave us much to do cause she so meng.
today they had a 8 course meal.
lobster and prawn dish
shark fins soup
prawn with vege
braised duck
vegetables with abalone
chicken rice!
somemore chicken rice
aloe vera and some jelly dessert
bla bla bla.
change plates for course 1, 4, 5 and 7.
chicken rice was something new haven't encountered this kind of stuff before,
although it was ma fan,
it wasn't that tough la.
haha its just chicken rice set that you had to serve them
like normal ala carte la.
"smile even at the xiao di di xiao mei mei because the macdonalds ah ma also smile at you."
and then it ended early too!
although no not really early abt 11+ but then time passed really quickly haha.
and then on the way back decided to juist take random shots on my phone.
and this is the swimming pool which i passed by to go to the office today.
hurr hurr hurr.
the canteen.
this is where i get my food everyday.
important hurr.
anyway.
haha tired.
