everytime i'm on duty i blog.
today is labour day.
and i'm on duty.
let's talk about death.
okay i'm not really a fan of such morbid stuff
but dunno i was online (the whole day actually)
and flipping through facebook out of sheer boredom
and i chanced upon this.
okay i'm really wols but still.
that's not the point D:

i have no idea who ben chua is
(i suspect its some frisbee junior)
and i have no idea who melissa toh is,
but being the curious and kaypoh singaporean that i am,
of course i decided to find out more la.
which.. really wasn't such a good idea actually.
cause i dunno its just so saddening
to hear abt someone younger than me
taking her own life cause,
of all things... her boyfriend broke up with her.
such a stupid reason.
and its not as if her life was like
depressing and problem-ridden and stuff.
from what i gathered it appeared that
she was just some ordinary kid
schooling, fooling around, playing punk
doing things that you and i do every day.
i guess that's what made it so sad,
that she was just like everyone of us.
commiting suicide is such a lousy decision.
no guy (or girl for that matter) is ever worth so much.
no matter what, there's still friends and family
to fall back on no matter what.
and from what i gathered,
it didn't appear that she was some anti-social
friendless recluse or sth.
there would forever be friends or family
to pour out problems or rant to.
running away from it all isn't going to help.
sigh ):
life is ALREADY so short.
why make it even shorter?!
okay sigh initially i wanted to watch
wind struck (prelude to my sassy girl) at night
but i think if i watch now it'll be like
too emotionally unstable so nyeahhh.
i'll go watch home alone episodes 1-4 instead.
kiddy but whatever la.
for now all i want is
to be a child all over again.
without the worries of a young adult.
