and so volunteering for sundown comes to an end.
designated water boy at the 16/28km mark,
and once again i'm in the midst of
an endless 2 hour long slam of ppl.
yet give me the choice of being a water boy
or a barista during happy hour,
and no doubt, i'd pick the water boy.
at least people are genuinely appreciative.

having said that,
volunteering really was an experience i guess.
and just like running a local marathon,
this is probably a once in a lifetime activity.
its not much of a big deal really.
volunteering, and pretty much anything you do,
is only as fun as the people you do it with.
so many thanks to those who went down,
rujun meijun shengheng weely
and to a smaller extent,
our handsome mr chia.

note to self:
never volunteer unless its sundown,
the morning/afternoon sun will kill me.
i'd rather face supermassive sleepiness
as compared to the afternoon sun.

because cider is the elixir of life
